Casement window Pro: More wind will enter your house
Con: HDB requires homeowner to hire a licensed contractor to check the condition of casement window every 5 years to ensure its safety. Homeowners will be fined if they do not abide by this regulation. HDB usually conduct check on window during house sale and in the event that the window fall off.
Pro: No checking required
Con: Less wind
Lourve window - For corridor and toilet
Pro: Panel can be open individually
Con: Panel may fall off in the long term
Top Hung Window - For toilet
Pros: More wind and can still be open when it rains
